Current Winter Routine

My Current Winter Natural Hair Care Regimen (NO HEAT ROUTINE)

 Nightly Routine
1. Spirtz Hair with Water
2. Garnier Fructis Intense Smooth Leave-in Conditioner
3. Castor Oil/Coconut Oil Mix
4. Braid or Twist Hair
5. Seal Ends with Castor Oil and/or Coconut Oil
6. Cover with bonnet or silk scarf

Daily Routine
1. Coat finger tips in Olive Oil
2. Take down Braids or Twists
3. Fluff and/or add a cute accessory
4. Or rock a protective style

Weekly Routine
1. Detangle with Suave and/or Olive Oil with WIDE tooth comb (tip to root)
2. Clarify with Sulfate Free Shampoo
     Apple Cider Vinger (ACV) with water ratios, Dr. Bronner's with water ratios, REN conditioning shampoo
3. Deep Natural Hair Conditioner (Moisture)*
        Honey, Conditioner of choice and Essential Oils
4. Deep Natural Hair Conditioner (Protein)*
        Mayo or Yogurt or Egg, Conditioner of Choice, Honey and Essential Oils
5. Add Castor Oil/Coconut Oil Mix
6. Braid or Twist Hair  (allow hair to air dry)
*Recipe to follow

Monthly (as needed)
1. Protein Strengthener (Aphogee products)

4-6 Months
1. Trim ends (I trim my own hair)

It is imperative to increase conditioning, protect from weathering and hide your ends--during the harsh winter months.
